Wake County deputies are investigating a death at the Neuse River on Monday. Authorities said the investigation was underway near the Neuse River Greenway Trail and Loch Raven Parkway.
Rescue crews could be seen walking through the river with a raft near the Raleigh Beach area along the river. WRAL News is working to learn more about the circumstances.
In July, a child died after being pulled from the water at the river.
