Musician Daryl Hall, known for being half of the ’80s pop duo Hall & Oates, revealed on Tuesday that he recently received a living-donor kidney transplant.
Successful Procedure
The ‘You Make My Dreams’ singer posted the news to his Instagram page, stating that the transplant was a complete success and he is already starting to feel better. According to Hall, the procedure took place a couple of weeks ago, and he should be back to normal in a few months.
A living-donor transplant involves a healthy person donating one of their two kidneys to someone in need, as explained by the National Kidney Foundation.
