More than 90 cases of cyclosporiasis have now been reported in Connecticut, according to the Department of Public Health. The new data, released on Friday, said that there are now 94 cases in the state. DPH said that 43 were acquired domestically and 12 were acquired internationally, while the origin of the other 39 cases is unknown.
Four people in the state who contracted cyclosporiasis have been hospitalized, DPH said. In 2025, the state only saw 32 total cyclosporiasis cases.
