The Cuba Mia Fest makes its debut in Louisville this weekend at Waterfront Park, featuring live music, dancing, and food from across Latin America.
Celebrating Culture and Community
Attendees can enjoy a variety of music, including salsa, bachata, merengue, and traditional Cuban music. More than 20 vendors are expected to participate, and organizers anticipate over 5,000 people will attend.
According to Laisa Gonzalez, event organizer, the festival aims to bring the community together and celebrate Cuban and Latin American culture. Gonzalez noted that Louisville’s large Hispanic population deserves its own Hispanic music festival, which will also provide an opportunity for the local community to experience something different.
The Cuba Mia Fest runs on Saturday from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Waterfront Park.
