Couple assaulted and robbed at Kissimmee motel, suspects taken into custody

Osceola County Sheriff’s Office investigators reported a violent robbery at the Siesta Motor Inn on Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway in Kissimmee on Wednesday night. According to officials, a married couple staying in a motel room were bound with rope, struck repeatedly with a metal bar, and then stripped of phones, cash and jewelry.

Details of the assault

Deputies responded to the scene early Thursday morning after receiving a 911 call from the victims. Inside the room, investigators found both victims restrained and showing signs of blunt‑force trauma. The assailants had taken the couple’s personal belongings before fleeing the premises.

Law enforcement quickly identified two suspects believed to be responsible for the attack. Both men were located at the Siesta Motor Inn later that morning and placed under arrest without incident.

Suspects and charges

The individuals taken into custody are 38‑year‑old Glorimar Ramos‑Pagon and 37‑year‑old Salvi Sola‑Torres. Both face charges of battery and false imprisonment, which in Florida is commonly referred to as kidnapping. In addition to those counts, Sola‑Torres is charged with a violation of probation for possession of fentanyl, according to the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office.

Detectives are continuing to gather evidence, including surveillance footage from the motel and statements from the victims, to build a strong case for prosecution. The victims are receiving medical attention for their injuries and have been offered victim‑services support.

Community response

Local residents expressed concern over the violent nature of the crime, especially given the location’s proximity to popular tourist attractions and family‑friendly neighborhoods. Community leaders emphasized the importance of swift law‑enforcement action to maintain safety in the area.

Osceola County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson reminded the public that the department remains vigilant and encourages anyone with additional information to contact the agency. The investigation is ongoing, and updates will be provided as new details emerge.
