The Colorado Springs Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services Department is now accepting submissions for its 2027 Discover COS calendar. The calendar will feature photos of the city’s parks, trails, and open spaces, showcasing the beauty and character of these areas.
Submission Guidelines
Photographers can submit up to five photos each, and the deadline for submissions is 5 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 4. The department is looking for photos that celebrate the beauty, character, and experiences found throughout Colorado Springs’ parks, trails, and open spaces.
Proceeds from the calendar will go towards planting trees at the Snyder Quarry in Black Canyon Open Space. More information on requirements and how to submit photos can be found on the city’s website.
