Racers at Betty Krouse Park in Colorado Springs suited up in blow-up costumes and waddled to the finish line in a fun-filled race benefitting the Alzheimer’s Association.

The 2nd Annual Blow-Up Race was a collaboration between three senior caregiving groups: BrightOn Hospice Services, Able Care Mobile Therapy, and Cornerstone Caregiving. The event took place from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at 2415 E Cache La Poudre St. in Colorado Springs.
Registration for the race was $35 per participant, and runners were required to bring their own blow-up suits. Post-race ice cream and beverages were included in the registration fee. Individual and team category winners for best time and best costume received a trophy.
