Colorado’s minimum wage will increase to $15.71 per hour in 2027, according to the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment (CDLE). This represents a 3.6% increase from the current minimum wage and a 40% increase from 2019.
Local Minimum Wages
The city and county of Denver will have a local minimum wage of $19.84 for 2027. Other localities will set their own minimum wages based on local ordinances.
The CDLE uses the Consumer Price Index (CPI) from the federal Bureau of Labor Statistics to adjust the minimum wage for inflation every year.
