Clouds Clear for Air Force Academy Graduation in Southern Colorado

Residents of Southern Colorado can expect a cloudy start to their day, but skies will gradually clear as the morning progresses. This weather pattern is particularly relevant for those attending the Air Force Academy Graduation, where temperatures will begin in the upper 50s and rise to the upper 60s or near 70 degrees by the end of the ceremony. The anticipated flyover should proceed as planned, thanks to the decreasing cloud cover and dry conditions.

Later in the day, there is a chance of showers from late afternoon into the evening, with highs reaching the 70s across the region. As night falls, rain chances will persist into the early hours before the weather dries out, with lows dipping into the 40s and 50s.

Looking ahead to Friday, isolated rain chances remain, but temperatures are expected to climb into the 70s and 80s. The start of the weekend will bring even warmer weather, with highs reaching the 80s to 90s along the Front Range and Eastern Plains, while the High Country will see highs in the 70s to 80s.

The warm and dry conditions are set to continue through the weekend and into the last day of May. As June begins, temperatures will slightly decrease to the 70s and 80s, with isolated afternoon showers continuing into the first half of the workweek.
