Morgan served with the Clark County Sheriff’s Office, where he was a valued member and known for his strength, resilience, and dedication to his community.

The Sheriff’s Office announced Morgan’s death in a social media post, describing him as a husband, father, veteran, friend, deputy, and a leader. Many community members had followed Morgan’s journey and had stood beside him, his family, and the agency with their prayers and support. The City of Battleground also expressed condolences, stating that their hearts were with the entire agency and everyone whose lives were touched by Deputy Morgan.
Community members wishing to continue supporting Morgan’s family can contribute through an online fundraiser. The Wenatchee Blue Family, a non-profit organization that supports families of law enforcement officers, has also launched a challenge coin and patch campaign in honor of Morgan. The organization is collecting coins and patches from law enforcement, fire, EMS, dispatch, corrections, military, and other first responder agencies to give to Morgan’s family.
