Cincinnati police increased their presence at Fountain Square on Friday night due to large crowds and reports of teenagers out past curfew. Around 10 p.m., a large police presence could be seen on Fountain Square, with big crowds around the area.
Police Response
Police said no arrests were made on Fountain Square and officers were on scene out of precaution because of the crowd sizes. "It was a busy night. There’s a lot of people out having a good time," said David Schofield, Central Business District commander with Cincinnati Police. "The Savannah Bananas event went really well; the Juneteenth events went really well and we’re just here to monitor the crowd and make sure everything goes safely."
