Giantele (Zhejiang Zhegui Electric Co., Ltd.) has completed the supply of power‑distribution equipment for both construction phases of an electric‑motor component plant in Apatin, Serbia. The plant, operated by a subsidiary of a Chinese automotive‑components maker listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange, is already running its first production lines after phase‑one was energized.

What was delivered

The company provided 29 withdrawable low‑voltage switchgear panels, 74 distribution boxes, a busway system and a 1,600 kVA dry‑type transformer. Phase‑one included 15 switchgear panels, 54 distribution boxes and the transformer; phase‑two added 14 panels, 20 boxes and a 3,200 A busway. All equipment shares a common panel platform and protection philosophy, simplifying commissioning for the plant’s electrical team.

Design for export

Engineered in China to European standards, the switchgear is built on a withdrawable platform that allows drawer sections to be serviced while the rest of the board remains energized—critical for continuous‑production facilities. Panels were packed for sea freight, shipped to Serbia and supported remotely with English documentation and after‑sales assistance.

Compliance and testing

All equipment meets IEC 61439 (switchgear), IEC 60076 (transformer) and carries CE marking. Giantele’s quality management systems are ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certified. Each unit leaves the factory with inspection certificates covering insulation, wiring and functional tests, and a warranty of 12‑24 months.

Broader context

The Apatin project reflects a growing trend of Chinese manufacturers establishing production capacity in Southeast Europe to access the EU market.
