A child died after drowning in a pool, according to the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies responded to a home in Maitland around 8:30 p.m. after reports of a drowning.
A young child was pulled from a pool, unresponsive and not breathing, according to SCSO. Deputies said the child was then taken to a hospital and pronounced dead.
The investigation remains ongoing.
