A new Hello Kitty Cafe is opening in downtown Chicago, featuring a variety of baked goods and drinks. The cafe, located in the base of the LondonHouse Chicago Hotel, has begun to take shape and is scheduled to open later this month.

Location and Features

The cafe is situated on the corner of Michigan Avenue and Wacker Drive, with large windows facing the intersection and a patio area across from Trump Tower. The menu includes freshly baked cookies, cakes, donuts, and seasonal goodies, as well as special drinks.

Some Hello Kitty Cafes also serve cocktails and an afternoon tea with an array of fresh fruit, sweets, tea, and finger sandwiches. Sanrio, the parent company of Hello Kitty and Hello Kitty Cafe, did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
