The Central Wyoming Fair and Rodeo is set to take place at the Central Wyoming Fairgrounds from July 3-11. This year’s event promises to be an exciting one, with a variety of activities and entertainment for all ages.
Events and Activities
In addition to the fair and rodeo, the event will feature a barbeque cook-off, a One Man Wild West show with Loop Rawlins, a fiddle competition, a comedian/hypnotist named Tyzen, a sidewalk chalk festival, the annual Downtown Casper Parade, a juggling act, a Sea Lion Splash, and more.
One of the highlights of the event is the demolition derby, which will take place on the Fourth of July. The derby, called the 307 Throwdown, will feature cars from seven different states and promises to be an exciting event.
Tickets for the demolition derby are $20, and gates will open at 4 p.m. with the show starting at 5 p.m. The event will also feature traditional Fourth of July fireworks, which can be viewed from the grandstand.
Community Support
The Central Wyoming Fair and Rodeo is a community-supported event, and General Manager Tom Jones is proud of the support the event receives from the community. Jones has been involved with the event for years and takes great pride in putting on an event that brings the community together.
