Nearly a year after Craig Wills was found shot inside a wrecked car along Interstate 71, his family says their grief remains raw, and so do the questions surrounding his death.
A Family’s Plea for Answers
Wills’ father, Lewis Wills, said memories of his youngest son still overwhelm him, especially in the neighborhood where Craig grew up and often returned to visit.
Craig’s older brother, Demetrius Glover, also remembers the painful moment he had to tell their mother about Craig’s death.
The family continues to search for a reason behind the killing, with Shirley Wills, Craig’s mother, saying, ‘I would like to know why. Why? What did he do to you to make you take his life like that?’
Lewis Wills is urging anyone with information to come forward, saying, ‘If you know anything, tell it, give it up.’ Anyone with information is urged to contact LMPD’s anonymous tip line at 502-574-5673.
