Cedar Park is currently working on several road projects to improve traffic flow and enhance safety for drivers, pedestrians, and cyclists. One of the projects is the Lakeline Boulevard shared-use path, which will be a 10-foot paved path along Lakeline Boulevard between New Hope Drive and Little Elm Trail.

The city is also planning to improve New Hope Drive from four to six lanes and introduce an innovative intersection at 183A Toll. Additionally, the Texas Department of Transportation is working on a project to add two 3-mile lanes on either side of 183A Toll from East Whitestone Boulevard to Avery Ranch Boulevard.
Other projects include the resurfacing of Anderson Mill Road from Cypress Creek to RM 2769 and the expansion of New Hope Drive. The city is also working on the design of the western segment of New Hope Drive toward Lakeline Boulevard.
