The Hardin County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a robbery that occurred in Cecilia, Kentucky, early Saturday morning. Deputies were called to the 5000 block of Hardinsburg Road around 3 a.m. after a report of a person being assaulted during a robbery.
The victim was taken to Baptist Health Hardin for treatment, and their injuries are believed to be non-life-threatening. As part of the investigation, detectives executed a search warrant at a residence connected to the case and collected evidence.
Authorities said the investigation is ongoing and active as they work to identify the individuals responsible. The sheriff’s office does not believe there is any ongoing threat to the public.
