The City of Casper has an e-waste recycling program to help residents dispose of old electronics. E-waste, or electronics waste, includes components and equipment such as computers, monitors, keyboards, televisions, and personal devices that contain hazardous materials.
E-Waste Categories
Electronics waste is broken down into three categories: PC (personal computer), laptops, and hard drives; mix/multi-functional general devices like old DVD, DVR, VCR, fax machines, and cell phones; and TVs, monitors, or arcade games.
Residents can dispose of e-waste at the Casper Regional Solid Waste Facility located at 1886 Station Road for free. Rechargeable batteries can be dropped off at the hazardous waste area, while larger electronic items should be taken to the baler building.
