A roll-on/roll-off cargo ship, the Nadezhda, was hit by a drone attack near Russia’s Black Sea port of Novorossiysk, resulting in three crew members being seriously injured. The ship was sailing from Novorossiysk to Turkey’s northern Samsun port when the attack occurred about 20 nautical miles off Novorossiysk.
All 22 crew members were evacuated to Russia, including the three who were injured. The fire continued to burn in the bow of the cargo ship. The identity of those behind the strike is not yet known.
