A vehicle crashed into a toy store in the 1000 block of Coast Village Road in Santa Barbara, California, on Monday. According to the Santa Barbara Police Department, officers were sent to the Montecito Country Mart on Coast Village Road around 11:57 a.m. Monday for a vehicle into a commercial building.
Only minor injuries were reported from the scene, and no one was transported for further medical treatment. The building sustained moderate damage, and fire personnel are in the process of evaluating the structural integrity.
The exact cause of the collision remains under investigation, but at this point, investigators do not believe drugs or alcohol played a factor in the incident.
