The city of Buffalo is set to celebrate America’s 250th anniversary with a communitywide semiquincentennial celebration, Red, White and West 250, scheduled for July 3-5. The event kicks off on July 3 with a screening of a documentary about the Hole in the Wall at the Buffalo Movie Theater, sponsored by the Johnson County Tourism Association.

On July 4, activities include a parade starting at 10 a.m., a 1.776-run walk with the YMCA at 11 a.m., a classic car show, a history walk, and a ribbon-cutting ceremony. The celebration continues with barbecue, food trucks, contest games, and Bouncy Houses at Brzezinski Park.
