Brewers Win Series Against Phillies

The Milwaukee Brewers wrapped up their series with the Philadelphia Phillies with a win. Milwaukee beat the Philadelphia Phillies 4-0 at home. Blake Perkins led the way, going two-for-four with a home run and three RBI in the win.

Brewers Offense Strikes First

Kyle Harrison tossed six shutout innings to pick up the win. Harrison said it helped that the Brewers offense struck first. He also said it was good to be back to normal after the adventurous outing in Las Vegas.

The Brewers, who are now 43-26, lead the second-place St. Louis Cardinals by 5 games and the third-place Chicago Cubs by 7 games. St. Louis opens a home series against San Diego tonight while the Cubs have a home series against the Colorado Rockies. The Brewers will continue their homestand Tuesday against the Cleveland Guardians.

Pratt is on the way: The Brewers are reportedly calling up one of their top prospects. According to Adam McCalvy of MLB.com, the team will promote shortstop Cooper Pratt to make his MLB debut. Pratt is the number four prospect in the team’s system and number 63 overall, according to MLB Pipeline.
