Tiffani Faison, a well-known chef and restaurateur in Boston, has announced the closure of two of her restaurants, Sweet Cheeks Q and Fool’s Errand, in the city’s Fenway neighborhood. The decision was made due to the high costs of running a restaurant, including fuel charges, tariffs, and the increased price of food.
Reasons for Closure
Faison stated that it has been 15 years since she first opened Sweet Cheeks Q, and it has been a difficult decision to close the restaurant. She mentioned that the cost of running a restaurant has become prohibitively expensive, citing the high cost of fuel, tariffs on imported goods, and the increased price of food. Despite the challenges, Faison expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to have run the restaurant for so long.
Both Sweet Cheeks Q and Fool’s Errand will close after business hours on November 24. The addresses for the two restaurants are 1381 Boylston Street and 1377 Boylston Street, respectively.
