Boneyard Pub on Division Street in Bend to Close in October 2026

BEND, Ore. – Boneyard Pub confirmed that its NE Division Street restaurant will close its doors on October 11, 2026. The decision comes as the brewery side of the business continues to post strong sales growth.

Growth in the brewery, shift away from restaurant operations

Founded in 2010 by Tony Lawrence, Boneyard Beer has seen a 32.5% increase in sales year‑to‑date, with its flagship RPM IPA volume up 42.8% in the Pacific Northwest. Despite that momentum, Lawrence said running a restaurant “has had its challenges” and the company will focus on its core brewing and tasting‑room operations.

Founder reflects on the change

“The Boneyard Pub is a separate business from our tasting room and production brewery,” Lawrence explained. “Running a restaurant these days has had its challenges. I am incredibly humbled and grateful to my team and the community for making Boneyard what it is today. The nature of how Boneyard was built was a sum of odd parts, literally parts from 13 different breweries, and the same can be said about how we built our pub and tasting room. We are who we are because of our incredible team and the local community here in Bend and beyond. We’re going back to where it all started, at our Lake Place tasting room and brewery.”

Support for employees and customers

The company said it will assist displaced employees in finding new positions at Boneyard, Deschutes Brewery, and other local businesses. Customers holding unused gift cards can redeem them at the Lake Place location through the end of 2026.

What remains open

The original Boneyard Beer taproom at 37 NW Lake Place and the production brewery will continue operating, preserving jobs and the brand’s presence in Bend. The pub on Division Street will maintain service until its planned closure date.

Impact on the Bend community

Boneyard Pub has been a staple of Bend’s downtown dining scene for more than a decade. Its closure marks the end of an era for the neighborhood, but the continued operation of the taproom and brewery ensures that the brand’s contribution to the local craft‑beer economy endures.
