A water main break in Palmyra, Indiana has prompted a boil water advisory for Ramsey Water customers across Harrison County. Just before noon Saturday, officials in Palmyra said a 10-inch water main operated by Ramsey Water had started leaking.
Crews were sent to the area to repair it, but officials have not yet said when the repairs are expected to be completed. Because of this, the boil water advisory is in effect until further notice for all Ramsey Water customers in Zone C.
Customers impacted by the advisory should bring their tap water to a rolling boil for at least one minute before using it for things like drinking, cooking or brushing their teeth.
