A body was discovered in a burned vehicle in southwest Bexar County, according to the San Antonio Police Department. The vehicle was found near the intersection of Gross Lane and Mechler Road, just north of the Medina River.
The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office initially notified police about the vehicle fire, and the SAPD has since taken the lead on the death investigation. The person found inside the vehicle has not been identified.
