Celebrate two new exhibitions at the Momentary in Bentonville with a free Super Party this Saturday, July 18. The event features hands-on artmaking, throwback games, roller skating, and live music.
New Exhibitions
The campus-wide celebration marks the opening of two new exhibitions: Lucy Sparrow’s ‘The Beginning of Convenience’ and ‘Ordinary Wonders’ by Chuck Ramirez. ‘The Beginning of Convenience’ is a nostalgic 1980s- and ’90s-inspired supermarket stocked with grocery products handmade from felt. ‘Ordinary Wonders’ features photographs that reveal unexpected stories in familiar, everyday objects.
Throughout the day, guests can enjoy ’80s and ’90s trivia, dancing, outdoor roller skating, double dutch, and more. Lucy Sparrow will also take part in special gallery activities, followed by a free concert featuring Grady Drugg and Arnie Brenn.
Food and beverages will be available, and the outdoor bar opens at 11 a.m. A cocktail tour with Lucy Sparrow will be offered from 6 to 7:30 p.m. This separate experience is for guests 21 and older and requires a ticket.
