The Bee Cave Development Corporation, a nonprofit economic development corporation, has filled a vacant position on its board. The corporation focuses on strengthening economic growth within Bee Cave.
Changes to Bylaws
Bee Cave City Council approved two changes to the corporation’s bylaws. The first change allows administrative functions to be completed by the corporation’s secretary or city staff. The second change amends the term dates for board members, which will now run from October 1 to September 30.
According to Chelsey Jimenez, economic development planning coordinator, these changes are meant to prevent overlap and gaps between term dates.
The council also appointed Robert Aird, a former Lake Travis School Board trustee, as the new director to the development board, following the resignation of position 4 director and former city manager Travis Askey.
