Part of a Des Moines roadway is closed Friday afternoon. Shortly before 2:30 p.m., the Des Moines Police Department announced Beaver Avenue is shut down at Sani Drive in both directions. Tree debris pulled wires into the roadway, according to police.
MidAmerican Energy crews are at the scene working to clean up.
