Bastrop, Texas, has seen several new business openings and updates recently. Espadas De Brazil Bar & Brazilian Steakhouse is now open, offering a Brazilian rodízio experience. The restaurant is located at 1507 Chestnut St. and features large cuts of meat seasoned with coarse salt, cooked over an open flame on metal skewers and served tableside.

The Bastrop ISD Police Department has also opened a new facility, supporting administrative and operational functions.
The Toasted Yolk Cafe, Crust Pizza Co., and Texas Roadhouse are also set to open in the Sendero development. Scooters Coffee has a new projected opening date of August 24. H-E-B Plus has undergone renovations and celebrated its grand reopening on May 22.

Germer Insurance is moving to a new location, and the Bastrop County Emergency Services District No. 3 station is under construction. Healing Hands Community Thrift Store, operated by the Methodist Healthcare Ministries, has opened in Cedar Creek.
