Baron Corbin has made a successful comeback to WWE, defeating Trick Williams for the United States Championship at SummerSlam. Corbin took advantage of a distracted Williams to capture the title.
Williams was accompanied by rapper Lil Yachty, who got involved in the match, but ultimately proved to be a hindrance to Williams. Corbin hit Williams with the belt and then nailed his End of Days finishing maneuver to secure the win.
This is Corbin’s second reign as US champion, having initially won the title in 2017. He departed WWE in 2024 but has now returned to reclaim the championship.
