A new community stage has opened at The Cove, a waterfront gathering space along the Patapsco River at 13 Rye St. in Baltimore Peninsula. The stage is designed to showcase local talent, give creators a place to share their craft, and provide community groups with a home for programming.
The Community Stage is constructed from reclaimed wood, features an overhead shade sail, and is surrounded by a grassy lawn and picnic tables. It debuted during Sail250 with an inaugural performance by Mark Evans and has since welcomed folk-bluegrass artist Caleb Stein, with a community DJ set planned for August 23.
