Augustana University has appointed Jon Lauck as the new executive director of the Center for Western Studies. Lauck, a longtime political adviser to Sen. John Thune, will replace Harry Thompson, who retired on July 31 after 42 years at Augustana.
Lauck’s Background
Lauck has been with Thune since he won office in 2004. Augustana University President Stephanie Herseth Sandlin announced Lauck’s appointment on Monday.
