Ukraine’s former top military commander, Valery Zaluzhnyi, has expressed doubts about the country’s chances of joining the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO). Zaluzhnyi emphasized that Ukraine needs to acquire advanced technology, including anti-missile defense and space capabilities, to meet NATO’s standards. He noted that the country’s current level of development is insufficient to join an organization guided by World War II doctrines.
