A new analysis from Viberate looks at artists whose recent growth has spread across multiple music channels, including Spotify, YouTube, and radio. The study found that artists such as Gat Putch, Kidd Carder, and Wyatt Flores have seen significant growth in their monthly listeners, streams, and YouTube views.
Artists Building Momentum
Gat Putch, a Philippine hip-hop artist, ended the study period with approximately 4.1 million Spotify monthly listeners, with a growth of roughly 590,000 monthly listeners during the earlier 90-day period. Kidd Carder, a Nigerian artist, finished the period with approximately 2.2 million Spotify monthly listeners, with a growth of around 360,000 during the earlier period. Wyatt Flores, a U.S. country artist, ended the period with about 4.6 million Spotify monthly listeners, with a growth of approximately 440,000 during the earlier period.
Other artists, such as Serkan Nişancı, Bayaan, Aksomaniac, Yapi, Elif Buse Doğan, BNYX, and Mizmo, also qualified across multiple channels, with growth in Spotify monthly listeners, YouTube views, and radio spins. The study highlights the importance of looking beyond a single metric to understand an artist’s momentum.
