Arlington is gearing up for a star-spangled weekend as the city celebrates its 150th anniversary and the United States’ 250th birthday. The festivities begin on July 3 with a World Cup knockout match between Australia and Egypt at Texas Live!
Independence Day Events
On July 4, the city will host the Arlington Independence Firecracker 5K, followed by the Arlington Independence Day Parade, one of the largest in the country. The National Medal of Honor Museum will also host a two-day ‘Freedom Fest’ featuring live music, special screenings, and a fireworks viewing party.
The weekend will culminate with the Light Up Arlington fireworks display at Choctaw Stadium. The event will feature fireworks and coordinated drones synced to 95.9 The Ranch radio station.
