A traffic stop on Interstate 40 in Monroe County, Arkansas, led to the seizure of 190 pounds of marijuana on Monday, June 22, 2026. Arkansas State Police (ASP) Troopers stopped a black Chevrolet Silverado for a traffic violation around 6 a.m.
During a search of the vehicle, Troopers discovered the marijuana in the bed of the truck. The driver, a 17-year-old from Oklahoma City, was arrested and transported to the Brinkley Police Department, and then to the Craighead County Juvenile Detention Center.
