The Arkansas Scholarship Lottery (ASL) will host a check presentation with the Arkansas Department of Higher Education (ADHE) on August 17, to commemorate $114.3 million raised for in-state student scholarships. The event will be held at 10 a.m. in front of the ASL Claim Center at 124 W. Capitol Ave. in Little Rock.
Scholarship Fund Transfer
ASL Executive Director Sharon Strong will provide remarks, and the public is invited to attend. In fiscal year 2026, ASL raised a landmark $114,307,596 in net proceeds for scholarships, second only to the $129,404,053 raised in fiscal year 2024.
These lottery-funded scholarships, awarded by ADHE, include the Arkansas Academic Challenge Scholarship, the Arkansas Workforce Challenge Scholarship, and the ACCESS to Acceleration Program. The scholarships create life-changing opportunities for students and aspiring professionals in Arkansas.
