Arkansas High football fans got a sneak peek into the excitement that is to come this fall, as the Hogs entertained their community to officially kick off the 2026 campaign.
Varsity Scrimmage
The Razorback faithful withstood the August heat in support, suited up to put their skills on display against one another under the direction of new head coach Jerry Littleton. The varsity scrimmage capped an evening that began with the eighth grade team getting the action started before the JV squad soon followed.
Second-year starting quarterback CJ Cleveland and his first-team offense lined up for a 20-minute first half against the first-team defense, scoring three times and executing two out of three two-point conversions.
Cleveland and company opened up the first of three offensive series with a 33-yard touchdown strike to newcomer senior wide receiver Jason Moss on a deep post pattern to complete the five-play, 70-yard drive in just under four minutes.
