The University of Arizona is sending 19 athletes to the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships in Eugene, Oregon. The Arizona men’s team took second place in the Big 12 meet, while the women’s team finished third.
Competition Schedule
The men’s 4×100-meter relay team will compete in the semifinals on Wednesday, with Mason Lawyer running in the 100 and 200 meter semifinals. The women’s 4×100 relay team will compete in the semifinals on Thursday, with Taylen Wise running in the 100-meter hurdles semifinals.
Arizona is projected to score 20 points in the men’s meet and eight points in the women’s meet, according to FlashResults.com. The championships will be broadcast on ESPN and ESPN2 each night, starting at 5 p.m. PT.
