The Arizona Wildcats have secured a commitment from 4-star receiver Ty Johnson, who played for Crean Lutheran High School in Irvine, California. Johnson, a 6-foot-3, 200-pound pass-catcher, had a stellar high school career, racking up 1,512 yards on 97 catches and 17 touchdowns in his first two years.
Recruiting Highlights
Johnson chose Arizona over several other top programs, including Arizona State, Arkansas, Baylor, and UCLA. He is rated as a 4-star in both of 247Sports’ ranking systems and is considered the No. 48 wide receiver and the No. 26 player in California.
Johnson is the second player from Crean Lutheran to commit to Arizona in the 2027 class, joining 3-star receiver Braylen Ross. The Wildcats now have 13 public commitments for 2027.
