The Ashdown Panthers have earned recognition from the Arkansas Activities Association, with several players receiving all-state and all-tournament honors.
Ashdown Panthers’ Achievements
The Panthers reached the 3A state championship game for the second season in a row, winning a state title and finishing as state runners-up in the past two seasons. Cayden White and Riley Williamson were among the players who earned all-tournament spots, with White hitting a game-winning home run against Genoa Central in the state semifinals.
Nate Castle earned an all-state spot on the 3A team, while Tristan Engledowl and Ethan Telles from Genoa Central also received recognition. Other area players, including Joshua Scoggins from Fouke, Gauge Applegate and Karson Chambers from Nashville, and Jackson Harris from De Queen, also earned all-state honors.
Kooper Caldwell, Carter Gilmer, and Isaac Kuykendall from Murfreesboro, and Andrew Carrillo, Maddox Dickson, Karson Hamilton, and Mason Moore from Spring Hill, were also recognized. Brandon Allen from Mineral Springs earned an all-state spot on the 1A team.
