Albuquerque Market Supports Native Vendors

The E’e’ahh (Sunset) Night Market made its debut in Albuquerque, offering a permanent place for Native vendors to sell their goods without fear of displacement. Navajo entrepreneur Kevin Wilson, founder of the Native Boba Tea brand, came up with the idea after years of working at various pop-ups that were subject to being moved from temporary locations.

Wilson hopes that the Night Market will become a weekly event, providing a secure setting for Native vendors to build their businesses. The New Mexico Indian Market, located at 9521 Central Avenue Northwest, opened six weeks ago and will host the Night Market every Saturday from 3 to 9 p.m.
