Albino Buffalo at Bangladesh Zoo Gains Attention for Resemblance to Trump

A unique albino buffalo at Bangladesh’s national zoo has captured public attention due to its striking resemblance to former President Donald Trump. The buffalo, nicknamed ‘Donald Trump’ for its distinctive blond tuft of hair, has become a sensation among zoo visitors.

From Farm to Fame

The buffalo’s journey to fame began when a local farmer noticed its resemblance to Trump. Initially intended for slaughter during the Muslim festival Eid al-Adha, the animal was instead transferred to the national zoo in Dhaka following government intervention. Since its arrival, the buffalo has attracted large crowds eager to see the animal that has become a viral sensation.

Public Reaction and Debate

The nickname has sparked mixed reactions among visitors. Some embrace the comparison, noting similarities in the buffalo’s eyes, hairstyle, and skin color. Mohammed Nasim, a student in Dhaka, remarked on the buffalo’s newfound celebrity status, drawing parallels to Trump’s distinctive personality and lifestyle.

However, not everyone agrees with the choice of name. Local resident Mohammad Joynal Adedin expressed his disapproval, stating that naming a farm animal after a world leader was inappropriate. Despite his reservations, Adedin visited the zoo to see the buffalo firsthand.

Zoo’s Response and Changes

Initially, the zoo displayed a sign identifying the buffalo as ‘Donald Trump,’ but it has since been removed. The zoo’s curator was dismissed, though officials have not disclosed the reasons for this decision. The buffalo continues to draw attention, with visitors frequently taking photos and videos of the unusual animal.
