Akron is gearing up to celebrate America’s 250th birthday with a series of fireworks displays and festivals throughout the city. The All-American Burger & BBQ Fest will take place downtown from July 2-4, featuring live music, food vendors, and a fireworks display on July 4 at 9:45 p.m.

- July 4 at 9:45 p.m. at Lock 3 downtown
- July 4 at Blossom Music Center with the Cleveland Orchestra
- July 4 at Canal Park with post-game fireworks after the RubberDucks game
- July 4 at Barlow Farm Park in Hudson with a fireworks display at dusk
- July 4 at Downtown Wadsworth with a fireworks display at approximately 10 p.m.
Additionally, the Portage Lakes State Park will host a privately funded fireworks show on July 4 at 10 p.m.
