Africa Now has returned to Galeries Lafayette Paris Haussmann for its second edition, bringing together a curated selection of contemporary African fashion and design from June 17 to July 8, 2026. The initiative highlights emerging and established designers from across the African continent while connecting their work with international audiences in one of Paris’s most recognized retail destinations.
Designers and Partnerships
Located on the third floor of the Coupole at Galeries Lafayette Paris Haussmann, the pop-up features ready-to-wear collections, handbags, jewelry, and accessories from 11 designers representing the diversity and creativity of Africa’s fashion industry. This year’s edition was curated in partnership with Adama Paris, CANEX x Tranoï, and Africa Fashion Up x Studio Ka.
Participating designers include Adama Paris, Ibrahim Fernandez, Sisters of Afrika, Christie Brown, Late For Work, Judy Sanderson, We Are NBO, Vanhu Vamwe, Eric Raisina, Kwiyiah Style, and Talua. The opening event welcomed fashion professionals, media representatives, industry stakeholders, and guests, including Grammy Award-winning artist Angélique Kidjo, model Maria Borges, former Miss Côte d’Ivoire Olivia Yacé, Chioma Ikokwu, Tenicka B, and Candace Marie.

Africa Now continues to create opportunities for African designers to showcase their work on an international stage while building meaningful connections with global consumers and industry professionals. The second edition reflects the growing interest in contemporary African fashion and the creative talent emerging across the continent.
The initiative aims to support greater visibility for African designers while providing visitors with access to collections that reflect both cultural heritage and modern fashion trends.
