The Indianapolis Public Library is hosting a Day of Play on June 27, a recess for all ages. The event, organized to promote the library’s Summer Reading Program, will feature activities on all six levels of Central Library, including a giant ball room, a cardboard fort, a free arcade, and performances by a yo-yo champion.

The celebration of play comes just weeks after Central Library cut the ribbon on its newly renovated kids and teens spaces. Day of Play activities will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 27 at Central Library, 40 E. St. Clair St. A schedule of the day’s events is available on the Indianapolis Public Library’s website.
