A Texas sheriff came to the rescue of an RV full of Swedish World Cup fans after a minor accident along I-37 south of San Antonio. The Atascosa County Sheriff’s Office reported that the five Swedish fans were on their way to follow their national team across North America.
World Cup Fans Rescued
The fans had flown into Dallas, picked up an RV, and had already caught a match in Monterrey, Mexico, with stops in Houston and Los Angeles still ahead. According to the sheriff’s office, everybody was okay after the accident, and Texas DPS Troopers and Deputy Chief Eric Kaiser made sure they were safe before they got back on the road.
