17 Springs Marketplace Adds 1220 Café

The City of Millbrook and the Elmore County Commission have announced that 1220 Café will be joining Baumhower’s Victory Grille at the 17 Springs recreation, shopping, and dining complex in Millbrook.

Expansion of 17 Springs Marketplace

1220 Café, already a popular dining spot in Tallassee since opening in 2012, is owned by Noah and Pam Griggs, Stephen Duggar, and Todd Cornwall. The restaurant offers a variety of dishes, including sandwiches, hand-tossed salads, soups, homestyle meals, seafood, and house-made desserts.

Millbrook Mayor Al Kelley expressed enthusiasm about the new addition, stating, “The restaurant has built a strong reputation for quality food, outstanding customer service, and community involvement. Their menu offers something for everyone, and we believe they will be a tremendous addition to our community.”

Bart Mercer, Chairman of the Elmore County Commission, also welcomed 1220 Café, saying, “Noah and his team have a reputation for quality food, service, and hospitality. We believe they are a great fit for the Marketplace and complement 17 Springs nicely.”

Noah Griggs, owner of 1220 Café, expressed excitement about bringing the restaurant’s signature dining experience to Millbrook, citing the city’s growth momentum and the Marketplace’s outstanding location.

Additional details regarding construction and opening dates will be announced as they become available. 17 Springs sits on 110 acres off Alabama Highway 14, just off of Interstate 65, featuring multipurpose athletic fields, tennis and pickleball courts, an 85,000 square foot field house, and a football stadium, with more features, including dining, shopping, and entertainment, still being developed.
